At Compressor Parts & Repair, Inc., we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Founded in 1961 by Milton Harwood, the company emerged from his extensive experience in the air conditioning and heating industry, recognizing the growing need for high-quality remanufactured compressors. Milton Harwood’s vision and expertise laid a strong foundation for the company.

In 1971, Milton’s nephew, Robert Harwood, joined the business and played a crucial role in expanding operations and enhancing remanufacturing capabilities. By 1980, Robert had assumed full control of plant operations, driving innovation and efficiency. Recognizing further opportunities, Milton Harwood established a Compressed Air Division, which was later spearheaded by Milton’s son, Keith Harwood, in 1989. Under Keith’s leadership, the division became one of the largest Quincy climate controlled compressors distributors in the country.

Following Milton Harwood’s passing in 2001, the company saw a new phase of leadership with Robert Harwood as President and Keith Harwood as Vice President. As a family-operated business, we have consistently embraced the latest technology and industry advancements to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. Our enduring values—hard work, integrity, and a commitment to quality—continue to drive our success and foster lasting relationships with our clients.
